Structural Engineering. Request For Quote

Structural Engineering of 3 x Deger D-60 Trackers
The Structural Engineer will deliver to the project specifications, drawings and related notes allowing for the permitting, installation and performance of the solar trees in the given environment. To the right are resources to assist in the delivery of the quote and the performance of the work.

Please note that over 50,000 of these dual axis trackers have been installed world-wide. The engineering and the installation of these are routine. Solana is seeking in CA an efficient process for engineering these structures. Long term, we would like to see a DSA application on parking lots.

The structural engineering accounts for:
  1. Slope, about 20-25 degrees.
  2. Soil type (see report).
  3. Wind (up to 90MPH gusts).
  4. Mast height 3.5m.
  5. Required concrete foundation.
  6. Surface area and net weight.
  7. 24 Panels Per Tracker: Weight Per Panel=41 lbs. Dim=61.4 x 41.2 x 1.81 inches.
